Valero Texas Open Announces New Title Sponsor for Premier Pro-Am

Valero Texas Open and Zachry Holdings / JV Industrial Companies Agree To Multi-Year Partnership

SAN ANTONIO, TX – The Valero Texas Open and Zachry Holdings, Inc., in conjunction with its affiliate JV Industrial Companies, Ltd. (JVIC), are pleased to announce a three-year partnership agreement that grants Zachry Holdings / JVIC naming rights to the Valero Texas Open’s premier Wednesday Pro-Am through 2016.

The first Pro-Am competition to feature the Zachry Holdings / JVIC name will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2014, and will include 50 Pro-Am teams each made up of four amateurs and one PGA TOUR professional from the Valero Texas Open field. The event will be played on the AT&T Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio one day prior to the first round of the Valero Texas Open’s professional competition.

“We couldn’t be more delighted to enter into this multi-year partnership with Zachry. The organization shares our commitment to the San Antonio community, and their support will undoubtedly help elevate the stature of our premier Pro-Am event and the Valero Texas Open overall,” said Larson Segerdahl, Executive Director of the Valero Texas Open. “Thanks to partners like Zachry the Valero Texas Open is able to raise significant funds and awareness for hundreds of worthy charities throughout our region.”

JVIC has been a long-standing supporter of the Valero Texas Open as the title sponsor of the event’s Monday Pro-Am. Headquartered in Pasadena, Texas, JVIC was acquired late in 2012 by Zachry, which has its base of operations in San Antonio.

Through this agreement Zachry will build upon their already strong partnership, cultivated by JVIC, with the Valero Texas Open while allowing their customers, partners and employees the opportunity to support exceptional non-profit organizations in their own communities.

“The partnership between Zachry, our recently acquired JVIC, and the Valero Texas Open is a win-win, and represents our dedication to serving the communities where we live and work,” said Keith Manning, Executive Vice President of Zachry. “Both Zachry and JVIC have been committed supporters to the goals of the Valero Texas Open over several years, and we look forward to many more years of partnership with this valuable organization.”

The next edition of the Valero Texas Open will take place March 24-30, 2014 at TPC San Antonio. To learn more about sponsorship opportunities for the Valero Texas Open, please visit www.ValeroTexasOpen.com.
