Second Round Interview with Kevin Roy

Q. Great two rounds to start. I guess what's been working well for you and what are you looking forward to going into the weekend?

KEVIN ROY: Yeah, just been struggling the last couple weeks with my irons. We found something this week on the range beginning of the week and it's been clicking the first two days, which is really nice to see. Hitting some quality irons in this wind. Yeah, just going to stick to the game plan and keep trying to hit a lot of greens.

Q. What was it that you found at the range?

KEVIN ROY: Yeah, it was kind of something small. I was using a lot more body than arms, so for me it's just feeling I'm using a lot more arms. Something small, nothing crazy. I was swinging it bad enough where I was missing a ton of greens and having to scramble a lot, and these first two rounds I've been putting a lot more, which is nice.

Q. Clearly paid off, I think you're second in tee to green right now strokes gained, so clearly working. Can you talk a little bit about this tournament. You just mentioned staying here on site with the family here. What's it like doing that?

KEVIN ROY: It's great. We look forward to this week, staying here at the JW at the water park. Got my daughter here, got my dog here. It's great, so easy and convenient. My daughter's probably gone down the slide 50 times this week. It's fun, it's easy, good food. Like I said, super convenient.

Q. Any afternoon plans? Right back to the water park?

KEVIN ROY: I would love to go the water park. Hopefully the sun peeks out here a little bit. I've got to imagine we'll definitely stop there for a little bit.
