Final Round Interview with Victor Perez
Q. Victor, so your play this week currently has you slated in the Aon Swing 5 to get you into the RBC Heritage. Did you know that when you were out there? Were you trying to make a To have the opportunity to play in a Signature Event like that?
VICTOR PEREZ: Yeah, I kind of knew. I guess we'll see. Hopefully. I don't know how close it is in a sense. I hope I make it. I think these events have massive impact with the guaranteed money, points to get on the board. As a rookie, for us it's massive if you can play your way into those events guaranteeing some points and kind of moving forward. Obviously you can have a great week, you've seen it happen with other players, but yeah it would be great obviously.
Q. How great is the Aon Swing 5, especially coming over from the DP World Tour giving you an opportunity to play your way into some of the biggest events on Tour?
VICTOR PEREZ: I think if everybody's honest to the point I think everybody will agree that the player playing well should be rewarded and I think it's the best way. I think the guys who finished inside the top-50 the year before have proven that they have the quality of the year and guaranteed the starts and I think for the top-10 within the year, the top-5 within the few events is quite rewarding. It's not like you're getting a massive deal, but I think any opportunity to play a Signature Event is big. Yeah, I think it's great and for us it definitely is a massive bonus.
