Third Round Interview with Sami Valimaki
Q. Sami, two birdies in your last five holes for a 70, nice playing. If we can get some comments on your play.
SAMI VALIMAKI: Yeah, it was a tough day. Really, really windy over there. Just grinded hard, then hit a couple really good ones in the end. It was nice to finish with a birdie.
Q. Yeah, how much tougher was it, you mentioned the wind, than it was the first two days?
SAMI VALIMAKI: It was I would say almost two clubs wind, especially when you're coming into it, and it was completely other side the wind the first two days, so it was hard.
Q. Finished fourth last week in Houston. How much confidence do you have right now?
SAMI VALIMAKI: Really actually I would say quite a lot, especially I was striking the ball just kind of first two days over here, didn't make too many putts but like today I made a lot so that's why I feel like why I'm keeping going.
Q. And then your mindset going into the final round?
SAMI VALIMAKI: Of course we'll see where we're going to finish after the boys have played, but of course try to win, have a low one tomorrow and we'll see how it's going to go.
