Second Round Interview with Mac Meissner

Q. Mac, 2 under in your last 11 holes to get it to 2 under on the week and looking good to make the weekend. Talk about, you know, weren't feeling good yesterday but grinded it out today in front of your hometown to potentially make the cut?

MAC MEISSNER: Yeah, it's always nice to play four rounds here. Got a lot of family here, so it's nice to give them a little bit of a show. You know, honestly, I played pretty well. Greens are firm, it's really hard to get the ball close to some of the pins, so I was happy with how I fought, stayed pretty steady out there.

Q. Can you talk about playing with two vets, two Texas guys in Jimmy Walker and Ryan Palmer this week?

MAC MEISSNER: Yeah, it was pretty fun. When we were on the first tee today and they announced them as whatever, however many time winners, Jimmy's won this tournament before, both Texas Golf Hall of Fame guys, so it was really cool playing with those guys, playing with a couple guys who have had incredible careers. Yeah, I'm just looking forward to hoping to kind of follow in their footsteps.
