Final Round Interview with Graeme McDowell

GRAEME McDOWELL: It was a weird week for me. I kind of felt a little off mentally. I think emotionally I think it took a lot out of me on Sunday and down in the Dominican Republic, I probably just didn't give myself credit for it this week. I felt a bit off, I felt tired and, you know, I think it was such a relief, I didn't really know how to handle it. It was nice to bounce back and play well today and finish the week off strong.

Q. A good problem to have.

GRAEME McDOWELL: Absolutely.

Q. You squeezed seven birdies out of the course today, the wind shifted on us. As the leaders make the turn, what can they expect on the back nine that you found out there?

GRAEME McDOWELL: There's some chances and then there's some tricky holes. You've got holes like 10, 11 and 14, the par 5. I'm sorry, 13, the par 5. No, I was right the first time, 14, the par 5, which is there for the taking. Then you've got 15, 16 and 18. So I would watch out for some fun and games, especially on 16 and 18 are playing really tricky, playing really difficult many coming down the stretch there. I was happy to make my 5 on 18 and get out of there.
