Valero Texas Open's 12 Days of Giving: December 1-12

SAN ANTONIO, TX – At the Birdies for Charity® kick-off events in October, Valero Texas Open representatives announced the third annual “12 Days of Giving” that will take place December 1-12. Charities and schools participating in Birdies for Charity can participate in this optional opportunity.

Participating charities and schools will receive $10 proceeds from each Good Any One Day general admission ticket (retail $20 per ticket) sold online at www.ValeroTexasOpen.com/tickets. Ticket purchasers will select the charitable recipient they want to support from their ticket purchase.

The Valero Texas Open will also match up to an additional $500 per charity and the charity that generates the most ticket sales will also be awarded a $2,500 bonus (with a minimum of 50 tickets sold).

Good Any One Day ticket sales will launch on Dec. 1 coinciding with this initiative. This initiative not only provides charities an additional opportunity to raise funds, but allows ticket buyers to make the most of their holiday gift giving. Mark your calendar to make your purchase in early December!

With “12 Days of Giving,” donors now have three great ways to give back to their favorite cause through the Valero Texas Open’s Birdies for Charity fundraising campaign.

1) Make a pledge or donate to one of the 170+ charity participating in Birdies for Charity at www.ValeroTexasOpen.com/birdies
2) Purchase a ticket to the Valero Texas Open during the “12 Days of Giving” on www.ValeroTexasOpen.com/tickets
3) Attend the Valero Texas Open and register your attendance at the Birdies Donation Station for a chance to win $20,000 for the charity you supported.

Each of these will generate charitable contributions back to a variety of deserving organizations while giving donors the opportunity to win prizes along the way, including a Stay and Play Package to TPC San Antonio and JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa.

The next edition of the Valero Texas Open will take place April 20-23, 2017 at TPC San Antonio.
