Valero Texas Open: 12 Days Of Giving Results

Fundraising Campaign raised over $12,000!

SAN ANTONIO, TX –On Monday December 12, the Valero Texas Open concluded its third annual “12 Days of Giving”.

Participating organizations from Birdies for Charity received $10 for every Valero Texas Open ticket purchased online between Dec. 1-12. The Valero Texas Open matched up to an additional $500 per charity. This special campaign sold over 554 tickets, supporting forty-eight various charities over the twelve days.

We’d like to also recognize that John Jay High School AF JROTC sold the most tickets! They are awarded a $2,500 bonus!! The JROTC plans to use the funds to assist in getting new gear and help with expenses for upcoming competitions. Congratulations!!

In total, the “12 Days of Giving” campaign helped us raise more than $12,000 for incredibly worthy causes…now that is the true holiday spirit!

Although “12 Days of Giving” may be over, tickets for the 2017 Valero Texas Open are still available for purchase at www.ValeroTexasOpen.com and every ticket sold helps us in our ongoing mission to give back to our community and participating charities valiant efforts.

The next edition of the Valero Texas Open will take place April 20-23, 2017 at TPC San Antonio.
